Hi there. I'm Matthew Mansour, owner of Theodore Woodworks. I make all kinds of beautiful things using hardwoods from all over the world. I named this little venture Theodore Woodworks after my late father, who got me started in woodworking as a boy. He was a great father and a great woodworker, sorely missed as both, and I'd like to think he'd be proud of what's being made in his name's honor. Please have a look around the site. Theodore Woodworks was borne of the idea that there are still lots of people who truly appreciate the beauty of a handmade piece of woodwork. Everything I make is crafted by hand, one piece at a time, the old-fashioned way. I try very hard to use hardwoods in their natural colors to get the look I am after, so virtually everything I make is free of any type of stain or dye. In this day and age of mass-production, I hope you'll find this approach to hand craftsmanship refreshing.
